So you’ve finally made the decision to move on once and for all.
Getting over your ex girlfriend is a predicament that most guys have to face a few times in their lives, this especially hurts more when you keep remembering the memories you once had together.
So what do you really need to do in order to overcome this phase in your life so that you’ll be ready to go on the hunt for new women again?
Here are some of the things that I recommend you to do in order to truly move on and start a brand new chapter of happiness in your life.
Delete her number
If you ever get the urge to send angry or desperate or needy text messages to her, then the best thing for you to do here is to delete her number. Remember, you want to move on from this chapter and you don’t want the ghosts of the pasts to haunt you. Make sure you cut your ties with her in a way that’s civil and mature. Don’t just unfriend or block her on Facebook because that will be way too obvious. What you need to do is slowly erase your communication with her without making it a big deal. Deleting her number is perfect because you’ll know you’ll never end up calling her when you’re drunk to say something you’ll regret when you’re sober.
Start socialising
One of the biggest reasons why a lot of guys are unable to forget their ex’s is because they often refuse to go out and see what other alternatives are available. For some reason they prefer to stay at home looking at old photos of once happy memories and then feel sad for themselves. Do not do this. If you do then you’re just being a total loser. What you need to do is go out there and meet other girls to get a better perspective on things. Your ex is not perfect and there are plenty of better looking and smarter girls with sexier personalities out there just waiting for you. Get busy
In order to avoid loneliness and a chance to relapse into thinking about your once happy memories, I would advise that you get yourself a new hobby.

The reason for this is because you’re single again and this is the time where you can do things without giving a shit about what other people might think of you.
This is the best time to do things and find activities that will improve upon yourself and make yourself a better person. This is the time for self growth. In fact, this the BEST time for it. I mean, when you had a girlfriend you would have to think for the both of you. But now, who cares you can do what you like when you like.
Liberate yourself
What you need to do is get rid of (or neatly pack away) anything that would remind you of the relationship that you once had. This includes putting all your photos and memories in a big box and place it somewhere safe, but away from others. This way you really can close this chapter of your life so that you can move on. You don’t want to let yourself start looking at old photos and remembering what was once a great time in your life. You’re going to hurt yourself more and prolong the pain.
Get fit
As I mentioned earlier, since you’re single you don’t need to care about what she’s doing or thinking or whether it would suit her schedule. Remember, this is the time for you. So I would advise that you go out and get fit and find a sport or exercise that you like. Not only will this help you in terms of health, but being active will give you a sexier body and train your mind to be mentally stronger and more prepared for this tough phase of your life. You should use the pain and energy that you received from being rejected and project it outwards in a way that will help you. Feeling down and sorry for yourself? Instead of crying about it, go to the gym and pump some weights!
