You are in a relationship, you know that you love your girl so much, and that she loves you back.

Everything seems to be great.

I mean, the two of you get along just fine, and never run out of things to say.

The birds sing brightly to the rising sun.

The sun shines through the white clouds in the clear blue sky.

You get a salary raise.

You hit every sales target given.

Everything looks fine and dandy until…

Out of the blue she suddenly turns to you with a blank look and says, “it’s just not working”.

Let’s face it.

Getting dumped totally sucks.

Really, it is probably one of the biggest disappointments that you’re going to face at least once in your life time.

It really hurts. I mean it can drain you emotionally, mentally and physically. I’ve seen guys who have been damaged to the extent that they are unable to drag themselves from the bed in the morning to go to work.

Everything around you seems to fail at this time as well.

The birds that used to sing suddenly disappear.

You lose a big client.

You suddenly are unable to meet your monthly targets.

For some reason, everything and everyone around you starts to become irritating.

Trust me, I know the feeling that you’re going through right now.

I really do.

So I totally understand where you’re coming from.

The good news is, you can get your ex back.

Yes, it’s possible and there are things you can do and say in order to make it happen, but you have to be disciplined and control your emotions right now.

You need to take another look at your situation and decide this.

Is your ex worth saving?

You have to distinguish the pain that you’re suffering right now from the pain of getting rejected. These are two types of pains and they are often felt at the same time of breakup. Now since you’re alone, you should have plenty of time to ponder and think.

Was she suitable for you?

Was she a good match to you?

When you answer these questions, you have to be fair to yourself and honestly answer them.

If you can undeniably attest that she’s the one for you, then it’s important to understand the next principle.

Do not “fight” to keep her.

A lot of people would advise you that you need to cause drama with your girl because you love her. So unless you go running after her and beg on your knees your not displaying your true love for her.

But you know what?

The more you linger around her and the more you pester her and harass her. The more she’s going to think that it was a good decision to leave you. Think about this. Right now you’re displaying insecurity and your desperate to get her back. That’s just plain unattractive.  So what should you do in order go get her back?

Give her space and respect her decision.

No matter what you feel, you have to fight the urges of wanting to see or talk to her again. If you take action upon your emotions, you’re probably going to end up doing or saying something that is hurtful and stupid. You need to stand back, regroup and devise your master plan.

Begging never ever works.

Remember, do not BEG for her love.

You have to gain it like you did the first time.

So what am I talk about here?

Remember at the start of the relationship? Were you all fine and exciting to be around? Chances are looking at the current person and the one she fell in love with, there was a big difference right? I bet you you’re no longer that care free person who she fell in love with.

In fact, I can almost guarantee that you probably much less confident than you were before. You probably get mad and angry at her a lot easier and both of you argue much more than you first met.

You changed, a lot.

She would have noticed this big change and over time, gradually, but surely also change.

So how do you get your girlfriend back?

You need to disappear for a while.

Give her sometime to miss you.

But when you come back, make sure that you are the person that she fell in love with initially. Make sure that you’re fun and caring and loving. Make sure you displayed the confidence that you did at the start of the relationship and then remind her WHY she fell in love with you in the first place.

If you do it right, then it’ll only be a question of WHEN not IF she’ll be back in  your arms again.
